Kotyakov announced overcoming the peak impact of the pandemic on the labor market

“The labor market in the Russian Federation today has passed the peak of the pandemic much better than in a number of countries,” the minister said.

According to him, the unemployment rate in Russia amounted to 6.1% in May.

Kotyakov added that "the unemployment rate in developed countries such as the United States was more than 13%."

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that unemployment in Russia has grown, but not as dramatically as in other countries.
