As the media wrote, the FSB and police officers arrived at the monastery after reports that a round-the-clock duty was introduced there, at the request of Scheme Sergius, involving Cossacks.

"Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region did not take part in events on the territory of the Sredneuralskiy convent," the report said.

They emphasized that the information disseminated on relevant topics is false.

Earlier, the monastery was visited by police officers, the inspection, as stated in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, did not reveal any violations of public order there.

As reported in the media, the legal abbess, the nun Varvara (Krygina), was actually removed from the management of the monastery.

Schiigumen Sergius, speaking of allegations of the capture of the monastery, called such statements strange.
