control! Eat sweet if you are in a bad mood

"Life is so hard, I want to eat something sweet." This idea is common among the crowd, and various desserts and beverages are also selling hotly.

It is undeniable that when controlled by negative emotions, eating a little sweet will make you happy, because sweetness can promote the synthesis of dopamine. The dopamine in the central nervous system can transmit excitement and happiness. But this "happy scam" created by sweetness will eventually be exposed. Because this happiness is generated by the dopamine reward mechanism, it is not a true feeling of happiness.

When a person consumes sugar, it activates the tongue taste receptors to send signals to the brain, illuminating the reward system in the brain. This system is similar to the reward mechanism of the dopamine system during drug abuse. The more sugar you eat, the more dopamine you release, and you will experience a strong sense of excitement. The body cleverly remembers the positive emotions after the first sweet meal, so every time you feel down, your brain will remind you to "eat some sweets", if it depends on sugar, it is difficult to leave it. In addition, as time goes on, the sensitivity of dopamine receptors in the brain to sugar decreases, the brain needs more sugar to produce the same excitement, and the addiction to sugar will also increase.

Treating desserts and beverages as part of daily life will unconsciously result in a high-sugar diet, which in turn affects the body's metabolic balance and health. In general, addiction to sweets will induce diabetes, obesity, and may also lead to high blood pressure, so it is necessary to control the intake of sweets. The recommended daily intake of normal healthy people is less than 50 grams. Although sweets are delicious, you need to control yourself to avoid addiction.
