After his punch trip to Dijon, Marine Le Pen's new com 'coup de com'. The RN president went to Sein Island on Wednesday June 17 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of General de Gaulle's June 18, 1940 appeal. An early visit of a few hours, because Marine Le Pen knew that she risked being unwelcome given the history of her party, and that was the case.

It is the story of a failed landing. And the image makes sense for who claims to be a Gaullist. Marine Le Pen finally advanced by 24 hours her trip to the island of Sein to avoid journalists and protesters.

The president of the RN knew it: she was not welcome in this place symbol of free France. Arriving on the sly, it is also greeted this Wednesday by hoots on the island of Sein, where a hundred inhabitants left the day after the general's call to join London to fight the Nazi Germany. General de Gaulle himself came to pay homage to them a few years later.

A way for the president of the RN to try to follow in the footsteps of a great figure in the history of France. Continuing "  from his ideas on independence and sovereignty,  " she explains.

A conversion to Gaullism started a few years ago already by a Marine Le Pen who tries once again to forceps the party to demonize her party, to drive to the right with the 2022 presidential line of sight in mind.

Founded in 1972, the National Front (FN) counted in its ranks former collaborators and supporters of French Algeria, in short, anti-Gaullists.
