The coronavirus crisis has turned our daily lives upside down and could well transform the world of work in the long term. Many employees were teleworked during this period, and some companies contacted by Europe 1 are actively working to make it sustainable.

DECRYPTION

At the start of the school year, nothing will be the same as before the coronavirus crisis. "Teleworking remains desirable, but should not become the norm" warned Bruno Le Maire. While some companies are gradually bringing their employees back to the site, many are organizing to generalize this mode of operation and even continue it in September. From banks to carriers, even in large retailers, SMEs and CAC 40 companies: all are currently in the midst of construction: perpetuating telework for all.

Real logistics

"The hardest thing now, admits an entrepreneur, is to legislate while during confinement, we just tinkered." First step therefore, consult the employees, as with this Parisian insurer: "One in two wishes to continue teleworking full time, and one in two wishes to continue it more sporadically. There is real logistics to be had. We could work with two days face-to-face and three days at the choice of employees, telecommuting or face-to-face, as they wish. "

New constraints

2, 3, or even 4 telework sessions per week depending on the company. But everywhere, days of presence will remain compulsory. New rules that will be negotiated with the unions during the summer: respecting schedules, fitting out the workspace, maintaining social ties.

The bosses are already going to organize training for their employees who have been converted into tele-workers. But beware, adopting this new organization, warn the HR managers, is seeing other constraints emerge: the isolation or loss of creativity of the teams.
