On the morning of the 17th, the Blue House held an emergency video conference of the National Security Council (NSC) Standing Committee to analyze North Korea's talks with South Korea and discuss countermeasures.

The NSC standing committee meeting was held for 1 hour and 30 minutes from 8:30 am to 10 am on the day, a senior official from the Blue House said.

The meeting was attended by the chief of the National Security Office of the Blue House of Justice, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-hwa, Minister of National Defense Chung Kyung-doo, Minister of Unification Kim Yeon-cheol, Secretary of State Seo Hoon, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Park Han-ki.

Earlier, the Blue House held an emergency meeting of the NSC standing committee immediately after the North Korean bombing of the Gaesung inter-Korean joint office and expressed strong regret for North Korea and revealed a strong response policy.
