by Fabrizio Patti 16 June 2020 European markets are starting to rise. In Milan the Ftse Mib index marks + 2.4%. The London, Frankfurt and Paris indices do little better. Generalized increases in sectors in Piazza Affari, starting from banks and industrial stocks, + 2.8% for both reference indices. 

It is the long wave of a turning point that began yesterday on Wall Street, in the middle of a session that started very badly and ended instead with the plus sign (Dow Jones + 0.6%, Nasdaq + 1.4%).

The change of direction yesterday in the middle of the session on the New Tork stock exchange: the Fed, the US central bank, announced the start of a new program to purchase private bonds of up to 250 billion dollars.  

To anticipate the price lists also the advances of the Bloomberg agency on an infrastructural plan of almost one trillion dollars that the White House would be preparing to launch.  

Today Fed Governor Fedell will speak about monetary policy in the US Senate and data on industrial production and retail sales in the United States are expected between 2.30pm and 4pm Italian time.

During the night, the Bank of Japan made it known that it was ready to strengthen its support plans. The effect on the Nikkei index in Tokyo was immediate, rising by almost 5 percent.

Oil returns to appreciate, which with Brent from the North Sea returns to close to 40 dollars a barrel (39.77), while the American WTI is slightly down, to 36.85 dollars.

In terms of government bonds, Btp / Bund spreads opened lower, at 184 basis points. 

Among the individual stocks on the Ftse Mib, the rise for Buzzi Unicem increased by + 8% after two evaluations by investment banks that raised the "target price". Following, with increases of over 4%, Cnh Industrial and Banco Bpm. The only title with the minus sign today Diasorin, -0.35%. Yesterday the stock had risen 1.7 percent.
