Dibba Fujairah police succeeded in arresting a gang of four people, who stole cash and jewelry estimated at half a million dirhams, from the house of a citizen in the Dibba region.

Fujairah Police stated that the details of the incident are due to the receipt of a communication to the Dibba Fujairah Police Operations Room, by a citizen, stating that his house was stolen, at noon last Friday, during his absence from the house, and when he returned to the house he noticed the disappearance of an iron safe containing amounts Cash and jewelry worth around half a million dirhams.

For his part, the director of the Dibba Police Department, Colonel Saif Rashid Al-Zahmi, stated that upon receiving the report, a working group was formed to uncover the author's ambiguity and arrest the gang, which he called "the gang of the day", continuing that through research and investigation the team was able to identify the perpetrators. And it was found that, as soon as the crime was carried out, they moved to the emirate of Ajman, and within less than an hour, the defendants were arrested in coordination with the Ajman police, and the stolen treasury was recovered, and all the belongings reported in it were stolen.

By investigating the accused, they confessed to carrying out the theft planning and home monitoring process in cooperation with an auxiliary worker at home, and they took advantage of the absence of family members and carried out the crime, and based on the defendants ’confessions, they were all referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigations.

For his part, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al-Kaabi praised the professionalism enjoyed by the police officers, and their willingness to deal with such cases, noting the cooperation of the General Command of Ajman Police in facilitating the arrest of the accused.

He stated that the Fujairah police have always been on the lookout for all those who begged themselves to breach, tamper with security or break the law.
