Good news for swimmers who can once again chain lengths since this Monday in Rennes. But the return to normal will be very gradual since only the Villejean swimming pool is accessible to the public "experimentally", specifies the city. For the Gayeulles swimming pool and the northern Bréquigny basin, it will be necessary to wait until the end of the month for the reopening. The Saint-Georges swimming pool will be closed at least all summer for maintenance work.

Before taking a dip, you will also have to comply with the new reception conditions by obligatorily reserving a one-hour slot for swimming or swimming in the pool of your choice. The reservation can be made up to ten days in advance and at least 40 minutes before swimming with six one-hour slots that will be offered to swimmers in each of the pools from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm.

The same cabin before and after swimming

Swimmers will also have to adhere to strict sanitary measures. They must therefore use the same cabin before and after swimming, respect the direction of traffic and wait for the green light from the lifeguards before accessing the pools.

No equipment will be loaned to the pools. Users will be able to bring their own equipment, but they must obligatorily immerse it in a contaminating tank placed at the entrance to the basin. Access to the solariums and hammams will finally be prohibited at the Gayeulles swimming pool until further notice.
