ANALYSIS

The second round of municipal elections in Toulouse promises to be very tight and the campaign fierce. A BVA- La Tribune -Europe 1 * poll revealed this Monday morning shows that the Greens / France rebellious union list would barely prevail against the mayor Les Républicains. But nothing has yet been decided, as stated at the microphone of Europe1 Edouard Lecerf, deputy managing director of BVA.

The union list of the left “Citizen Archipelago” led by Antoine Maurice would prevail very little against the outgoing mayor with “51% of the voting intentions against 49% for the list of Jean-Luc Moudenc", "Loving Toulouse ", explains Edouard Lecerf. But it is participation that risks being decisive in weighing the balance on one side or the other.

However, there is still more room for improvement in both cases, "said the deputy managing director of BVA. "Voters on the left can imagine winning a symbol, remaining united behind their candidate. And those on the right and LREM may want to save a mayor whom they consider to be the best equipped to defend the economic situation of the city."
