• Interview. Samantha Vallejo-Nágera: "I have already cooked for the King and for the Queen too"

If last year MasterChef opened the doors of the Pedraza de Samantha Vallejo-Nágera farm (50), in this edition the talent show will travel to another stage of the popular cook and jury of the contest, the Dehesa de Valbueno farm , in Guadalajara, which Samantha opened to the public two years ago for weddings and celebrations.

The property, rented for a period of eight years, is located half an hour from Madrid and is one of the spaces in which your catering company organizes its events. In the gardens of the spectacular estate , where cocktails are usually served, the outdoor test of the program is held on Monday night.

The property has four spaces: the garden, the pine forest - 400 years old - and the pastureland make up the exteriors, while the interior is divided into spacious, exquisitely decorated manorial rooms.

The estate was owned by the monks who owned the Jerónimos Monastery until 1726, when it passed into the hands of Tomás de Yriberri Goyeneche , marquis of Valbueno and treasurer of the king. In the late 1900s, the palace house on the estate was renovated maintaining its initial structure. Dehesa de Valbueno will reopen in September after being closed in recent months due to the coronavirus.

The Guadalajara estate is the latest acquisition of Madrid's media cook empire. Since joining the jury of the program, his company has been running smoothly . His catering, Samantha de España, invoices more than three million euros annually , income to which are added other derivatives of his recipe books or advertisements for food or clothing brands, such as Uniqlo. Her Instagram account has more than 600,000 followers.
