You can read on the Care Guide's website that sampling is booked by logging in to the e-services on 1177. In order to do so, both an internet connection and a bank ID are required.

Several people who do not have a bank ID have called 1177 to ask how they should proceed, and then have been rejected on the grounds that no samples can be booked if you cannot identify yourself.

Gave incorrect information

But according to Region Sörmland, it should not do so. Anyone who does not have a bank ID should be able to get a trial time by calling the region's contact center.

- I'll contact 1177, because what they have said is purely incorrect. I will also review the information so it is right on the website, says Sofia Stenlund Wretling, head of the Region Sörmland development unit.

How could it go like this?

- We made sure to set up the large flow for the vast majority. It has been so incredibly fast. Now we gratefully receive tips and correct what is needed, says Sofia Stenlund Wretling.

1177 received incorrect information

According to 1177, however, no information has been received from the region that sampling can be booked over the telephone.

- We work on the basis of the information we received from the region, and that is that you have to book a sampling yourself through our e-service. I will talk to my colleague and see what has gone crazy, says Sabina Kalaitzis Barrögård, operations manager at 1177 Care guide Sörmland.

New routines are introduced

Following SVT Sörmland's attention to the region and in 1177 that several people without bank ID were rejected, new routines were introduced. Now, the 1177 Care Guide will direct patients, who call to ask how they are tested without having a bank ID, to the region's contact center. That's what Sabina Kalaitzi's Barrögård says.
