It is on Monday that the decision must be taken. Idre Fjäll has already been granted SEK 75 million, but wants better loan terms. Therefore, they want the municipality to go to the bail of the foundation when seeking more money, SEK 50 million.

- The money is used to cover the high fixed costs associated with operating a mountain plant and which will cover an absolute downtime until Christmas. It is tough to borrow so much money, but it is clear that you have a plan for how we can repay the money as well, says Tommy Halvarsson, Marketing Manager at Idre Fjäll.

The decision is expected to go through both the municipal council and the city council during Monday.

- We go to the guarantor to secure jobs, not for the facility to make investments for a better competitive situation. If we lose jobs, we get an emigration and then we lose significantly more in tax revenue than the 50 million bail means. This is a way to save tax revenue to the municipality, says Stefan Linde, municipal director in the Municipality of Älvdalen.

But Östen Sjögren (KL) thinks it is completely wrong. In addition, the corporate politician would prefer to see the foundation transformed into a public limited company.
