After several weeks of long waiting during the confinement, it is the big return of rugby matches in New Zealand. This weekend also resumed the Super Rugby League.

The Super Rugby League, which usually takes place across the southern hemisphere, has taken on some national matches well on New Zealand soil. Some 20,000 people went to Dunedin Stadium on the South Island on Saturday evening to witness the victory of their Highlanders team. Score: 28-27 against the Hamilton Chiefs.
But to appreciate again this life before, New Zealand first respected a very strict confinement for almost two months. The South Pacific archipelago, which has a population of five million, has recorded 1,154 confirmed cases and 22 deaths. On June 8, all restrictions were lifted by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
