Patriarch Cyril will be rector of the main temple of the Armed Forces

“I decided to assume the duties of the rector of this holy church,” the patriarch quotes TASS.

Earlier, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Cyril, performed the rank of great consecration of the main church of the Armed Forces of Russia in Kubinka, Moscow Region.

In May, in the Moscow region in the Patriot Park, the construction of the main temple of the Armed Forces of Russia was completed. 

In August 2019, it was reported that in the belfry of the main temple of the Russian Armed Forces, an ensemble of bells with a weight of more than 20 tons was installed, decorated with bas-reliefs depicting key events of the Great Patriotic War.
