Sweden often ranks high in comparisons of the number of infected and dead in different countries and has also received some international criticism for the strategy not to shut down the entire society, but to maintain a relatively large openness, despite the pandemic.

However, Stefan Löfven thinks that the opinions are shared internationally, that many are also curious about the Swedish strategy. Furthermore, he is critical of certain aspects that he thinks are impossible to compare.

"You should compare apples and pears," he says.
