Kjugekull is located a few miles north of Kristianstad and the large boulders overlooking the Lake Ivö provide a unique landscape. Climbers like that there are many boulders on a relatively small surface. Carl Nilsask has climbed here for eight years and he comes both summer and winter.

- A lot of people from Germany, Denmark and the whole of Europe come here to climb otherwise. And it's a bit like a physical puzzle. You have to figure out in what order to take the grips on the way up. And you can't think of much else because you shop a lot in the present, says Carl Nilsask.

Ancient remains and traces of ice age

At the top of the mountain there are ancient remains that testify that the area has been inhabited for a long time. The largest pile, as well as the altitude plateau itself, is called Kjugekull. The influence of the ice age on nature can be seen in the form of pebbles and the large boulders.

- It adds that it is a beautiful nature and it is nice to be here. If you get tired of climbing it is just to sit down and just enjoy, says Carl Nilsask.
