U.S. protesters furiously black men were killed, restaurant, U.S. police used tear gas to disperse crowds

  Overseas Network, June 14th-The death of another black man in the United States triggered massive protests. Afro-American man Reshad Brooks was shot dead by the Atlanta City Police outside Wendy's restaurant on the 12th. On the evening of the 13th local time, protesters surrounded the fast food restaurant where the incident occurred and set fire to the restaurant.

  According to CNN, the protesters broke the restaurant's windows and threw fireworks into the restaurant. A group of demonstrators also ignited the nearby car, and a jungle near the restaurant caught fire. The police used tear gas and flash bombs to disperse the crowd. After the protesters left the restaurant, they went to nearby Interstate 75/85, causing the main road to come to a standstill.

  The Atlanta Fire Department said in a tweet that they were on standby until they could safely enter Wendy’s restaurant, which was blazing, and a gas station next to the restaurant.

  Less than 24 hours after Brooks was shot by the police, the Atlanta Police Chief resigned. Georgia Investigation Director Vik Reynolds said the staff will hand over the findings to Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard, and Howard’s office will decide whether to bring criminal charges against the two police officers.
