Valérie Pécresse officially supported Rachida Dati for the town hall of Paris. During a joint trip to Aubervilliers on "crack hill", the two women displayed their unit to beat Anne Hidalgo in the second round, on Sunday June 28.

Rachida Dati must mobilize the right to conquer the town hall of Paris. As Anne Hidalgo continues to lead the race, on the right, the time is reuniting. The president of the Île-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse, who left LR in June 2019, had not yet posted herself with the candidate who came in second position during the March 14 poll, it is now done. Saturday morning, Porte d'Aubervilliers, in the district that has become the "crack hill" frequented by drug addicts, Valérie Pécresse finally showed her support for Rachida Dati for the mayor of Paris.

"Parisians must know that it is possible to change mayors"

Safety and cleanliness are unifying themes on the right. It is precisely this image that Rachida Dati and Valérie Pécresse wanted to offer in a shared garden, Porte d'Aubervilliers where condoms, syringes and sometimes drugs are regularly found. "It means that when the children come they can find drugs" testifies a resident, like the piece of a cracker cake shown to the two elected officials during their visit. "When we say there is insecurity we are fachos, if we say there are traffickers, we stigmatize", laments Rachida Dati.

The friction at the start of the year between the two women seems to be a thing of the past. In February on Europe 1, she declared to wish the victory of Rachida Dati in Paris, while judging that "the keys of the rally [were] in her hands". Before the first round, Rachida Dati accused her, Valérie Pécresse of wanting to support Benjamin Griveaux or to favor Anne Hidalgo. Words far from the support posted this Saturday by Valérie Pécresse. "Rachida came first from the opposition, in the first round, in Paris and therefore the rally was naturally to take place behind her and around her project. Parisians must know that it is possible to change mayor on June 28 . "
