According to the rescue service, it is a boat that has been found. The engine was switched on but no human was seen. Several rescue services have been called to the site which is reported to be Per-Olsudden in Nordingrå.
The Maritime Rescue Society was also called, and it was unclear at the time how many people might have been in the boat.
During the afternoon, police report that a person, an elderly man, has died in connection with the accident. Relatives are informed.
Continued investigation can hopefully give answers to what has happened.
