871 serious cases in intensive care

The number of serious Covid-19 cases requiring hospitalization in intensive care continues to drop, with 871 patients, 8 fewer than the previous day. These data confirm the downward curve for the most severe cases since the peak reached in early April (with more than 7,000 patients then in intensive care because of the coronavirus). President Emmanuel Macron must speak on Sunday on the third stage of deconfinement scheduled for June 22 and its main challenges: the reopening of restaurants in Ile-de-France, the relaxation of rules in schools and the lifting of the ban gatherings of more than 10 people.
