According to the agency, the demonstrators threw several firecrackers at the police during the rally, while police officers were forced to use tear gas during clashes with protesters.

It is clarified that the rally participants were unhappy with the decision of the police prefecture to ban the holding of a protest march to the Paris National Opera.
