Nguyen Fu Chong noted the successful development of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia in the context of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states, celebrated in 2020.
“The relations of traditional friendship and the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia have achieved significant results,” he said.
The President of Vietnam also expressed confidence that the cooperation between the two countries will continue to develop even more every day, contributing to the further strengthening of ties between the Russian and Vietnamese peoples.
Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko also congratulated Vladimir Putin on Russia Day.
