Nearly 7 out of 10 executives would like to settle "green" and among these candidates for moving, more than 8 out of ten wish to "improve their quality of life", according to a survey of the specialized recruitment site Cadremploi published Friday.

The confinement and the practice of teleworking during this period led "a majority of executives to question their pace of work (63%) as well as their work-life balance (58%)", indicates Cadremploi in a communicated.

And "almost one in two executives (48%) has started to reflect on their place of residence", according to this survey. More than a third (37%) are "dissatisfied" with their current situation, criticizing the time spent on transport, pollution, property prices or the size of their accommodation.

"The confinement has reinforced the desire of executives to go live in the green," said Cadremploi. Thus, almost seven out of ten executives (68%) say they are "ready to move, assuming they do not have to resign". They would then like to settle in the countryside (36%), in small cities (29%), medium-sized cities (26%) or large cities (9%).

Their main motivations for settling elsewhere are improving their quality of life (84%), having an outdoor space (58%) and larger housing (53%).

"Telework naturally appears to be the key to these mobilities since 90% of executives" inclined to move "would be ready to leave their place of work if their company allowed several days of telework per week," notes Cadremploi.

This survey was conducted online from June 5 to 8, with 1,130 executives registered on the Cadremploi website.
