“Taking into account the favorable development of the sanitary situation in France and Europe and in accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission yesterday, France removes all restrictions on crossing its internal borders from 00:00 on June 15,” a fragment of the RIA Novosti document cites.

In addition, restrictions on entry into France are lifted for arrivals from Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Saint-Martin, San Marino, Switzerland and the Vatican.

At the same time, France decided to maintain a 14-day quarantine requirement for arrivals from Spain and the UK.

The document also indicates that France, in accordance with the recommendations of the EC, will begin the gradual opening of external borders for states outside the EU from July 1.

Earlier, the European Commission recommended the EU countries to begin the gradual partial opening of external borders for citizens of other states from July 1.
