Destination Gotland pauses traffic between Västervik and Visby

- During this year, which is a special year, we choose to focus on our two main lines Oskarshamn and Nynäshamn. We want to protect our own staff and ensure that we can maintain traffic well during the high season, says Christer Bruzelius, CEO of Destination Gotland.

He explains that the main lines run with larger ferries, which makes them more suitable from the point of view of infection control.

- At Västervik we have run the smaller ship. It is far better from the point of view of infection control to use the large vessels in traffic, says Christer Bruzelius.

He also says there are more bookings on the main lines.

Destination Gotland, which handles ferry services to Gotland, welcomes the Norwegians.

- We usually have a lot of Norwegian tourists on Gotland during the summer and it is of course nice that the Norwegians who are planning to go to Gotland can now do so, says Adam Jacobsson, sales and marketing manager at Destination Gotland.
