“The Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova signed an order on the resumption of the open spaces of museums and museum reserves under the Ministry of Culture of Russia on June 16,” the press release said.

At the same time, the reception of visitors is possible subject to all sanitary and epidemiological measures.

Visiting museums and reserve museums is permitted only in masks, gloves and with respect to social distance.

In addition, visitors will be able to see only the main exposition of the museum (without visiting the interiors).

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that museums will begin to receive visitors from mid-July, and the work of theaters and concert halls is scheduled to resume in the fall.
