His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, confirmed that the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, laid a good future vision for the UAE based on the values of cooperation, human development and sustainability. The vision and the role of the UAE as a country with an active presence on the international scene, when the efforts of the international community to confront the pandemic of the emerging corona virus "Covid 19" united.
In a speech on the occasion of the issuance of the Mubadala Investment Company’s annual report, His Highness said that international cooperation and the initiative should be a priority for them, and that everyone work together to recover from the health and economic impacts of the Corona virus.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan added that the challenges facing societies today clearly show the pivotal role played by global investors, such as Mubadala in bringing about positive change through investment locally and globally in order to contribute to building a sustainable future.
His Highness stressed that Mubadala and other national companies contributed, based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him", in building our non-oil economy, and enhancing our global presence, as well as preparing a new generation of Emirati leaders.
His Highness stated: “There is no doubt that our local vision for the next fifty years is more ambitious, as we hope to see Mubadala as it invests and establishes partnerships in the most prominent fields that lead the development and innovation processes worldwide to create opportunities for future generations and through this role, Mubadala will maintain its position As a reliable and flexible global investment partner and contribute to achieving value in the areas of its operations and investment in sectors that play an important role in promoting progress at the global level.
