Moscow authorities continue to recommend that employers and enterprise managers maintain the highest possible level of employees "in the distance." The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, announced this on the television channel "Russia 24".

“If possible, it is better to do this (work. - RT ) remotely, without creating crowding in offices and enterprises,” Sobyanin said.

According to him, if the enterprises do not have the opportunity to continue the work of employees in a remote format, it is necessary to observe the sanitary regime.

The mayor also recommended that Muscovites not leave their homes on the upcoming holidays - Russia Day (June 12) and on the occasion of the weekend in honor of the Victory Parade (June 24).

“I would not recommend going anywhere on these holidays, so far we have banned public events. Yes, formal events will be held on the 12th and on the day of the parade. But it’s better to watch it on TV. But there shouldn't be any extras, spectators there, ”Sobyanin emphasized.

In addition, the mayor of Moscow noted that the city has no quarantine for visitors from Russian regions, but he called for restricting trips if this is not necessary.

Decrease in COVID-19 indicators, but risk preservation

Since May 7, in Moscow there has been a steady and steady decline in all indicators associated with the epidemic of coronavirus infection COVID-19, said Sergei Sobyanin. According to him, we are talking about identified patients, covoid pneumonia, cases of acute respiratory viral infections with a preliminary diagnosis of coronavirus, as well as the total number of hospitalizations and deaths.

As the head of the city explained, such a positive picture allows us to make decisions on lifting restrictive measures.

“All this (lifting restrictions. - RT ) is stretched out for at least two months, not at once,” Sobyanin said.

He pointed out that the first big decision in this direction was made on May 12, when construction and industrial enterprises were allowed to resume work, then shopping centers and retail outlets were opened against the backdrop of positive dynamics, and the permit system and high availability mode were canceled on June 9.

We add that from June 16, museums, exhibition halls, zoos, summer verandas of food facilities will open. A week later, on June 23, sports clubs will resume their work and urban infrastructure facilities can be used.

“We must use the freedom that we have today, carefully, carefully, so as not to harm our health and the health of loved ones. If there are a lot of people in the park, don’t push around, you don’t have to go there. Choose a different time and place for a sense of self-preservation, ”said Sobyanin.

However, the mayor pointed out that the threat of coronavirus has not yet disappeared, the risk of spread of infection is still high.

“The virus has not yet been defeated, the risks of morbidity still remain high, you need to take care of yourself and your family, do everything in order not to provoke situations that would put you in danger: do not go to crowded places, be sure to wear a mask when going into the transport and the store wear a mask and gloves, ”he said.

According to him, compliance with sanitary rules (social distance, wearing masks and gloves) will allow us to continue to return to a “new normal reality”.

“Of course, do not relax. And to say that nothing is going down is completely wrong with us, ”the mayor of Moscow emphasized.

The mayor also spoke about the tremendous work being done by domestic vaccine development specialists - at least three are at the stage of clinical trials.

“I think that in the coming months there will be more and more positive news about the creation of the vaccine ... Colleagues say that the first vaccine may appear in August, September, October. Specialists say that mass vaccination will be possible closer to the New Year, by winter, ”Sobyanin said.

On June 11, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the KhimRar group of companies announced the delivery of the first batch of the drug for the treatment of Avifavir coronavirus infection to Russian hospitals. The medicine will be free for Russians under the MHI program.

In addition, preparations are continuing for clinical trials of the Russian vaccine against COVID-19, jointly developed by specialists from the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Gamalei National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology. According to the colonel of the medical service Sergey Borisevich, head of the 48th Central Research Institute of the Russian Ministry of Defense, clinical trials should be completed by the end of July.
