Petersson now talks about Lisbet Palme's testimony.
"What Lisbeth says is that Christer Pettersson is the person she saw when she turned around. That doesn't have to mean it's the person holding the weapon. It's important to keep in mind," the prosecutor says.

On February 28, 1986 at 23.21, Prime Minister Olof Palme (S) was assassinated. Since then, the shots on Sveavägen have been a mystery (the only one charged with the murder and subsequently released in court is Christer Pettersson).
134 people have admitted the murder of Olof Palme, 29 of whom directly to the police. But there is only one perpetrator, according to Chief Prosecutor Krister Petersson, who leads the investigation.
Prosecutor: "That person is Stig Engström"During Wednesday's press conference, Krister Petersson pointed out that it is the court that will decide the debt issue. Then he pointed out the so-called Skandia man as Olof Palme's killer.
- I think we have come as far as you can ask. We do not come around a person as a happy man. That person is Stig Engström, he says during the press conference.
This also means that the preliminary investigation will be closed as prosecution cannot be brought against the deceased.
Indicates that the murder weapon was foundIn the past, Krister Petersson has said that he will either prosecute or close the investigation. Exactly what he will say in his presentation is unclear, but according to S-profile Daniel Suhonen, investigators have found the weapon that has kept the police in all years.
In advance, a lot has been about the so-called Skandia man, from the beginning a witness to the murder who has since been seen as a possible perpetrator. He passed away in 2000.
Yesterday, The Guardian also reported that Swedish investigators have met staff from the South African security service. The meeting took place in March and according to the newspaper, they received documents relating to the Palm murder.
