More than 15,000 confirmed cases of new crowns in Iraq

  Xinhua News Agency, Baghdad, June 10 (Reporter Bai Ping) The Iraqi Ministry of Health said on the 10th that the country added 1146 new confirmed cases on the same day, with a total of 15414 confirmed diagnoses; 34 new deaths and a total of 426 deaths; cumulative cures 6214 cases.

  According to a statement issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Health that day, the country has completed 7,835 sample tests in the past 24 hours, with a cumulative test sample of more than 330,000 samples.

  Health Ministry spokesman Saif Badr said in a statement that Iraq is still at risk and the number of confirmed cases may continue to increase. According to epidemiological investigations, most of the confirmed cases in Iraq are transmitted through the family.

  Since mid-March, Iraq has implemented strict anti-epidemic measures such as curfews, flight bans, and inter-provincial movements of personnel, with remarkable results. However, with the gradual relaxation of relevant measures, the epidemic rebounded. On June 6, the Iraqi government decided to extend the comprehensive curfew measures until June 14.
