“In connection with the order of Roszdravnadzor to suspend the operation of Aventa-M ventilation devices, it was decided to conduct additional verification and testing of Aventa-M ventilation devices,” the concern said.

It is indicated that the devices will experience with increased loads and emergency situations.

Also, some checks will be carried out in hospitals in conjunction with medical personnel with the aim of operational quality control and working out feedback on operating conditions.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee organized an investigation due to incidents with ventilators after fires in hospitals in Moscow and St. Petersburg. 

Roszdravnadzor announced the suspension of circulation in Russia of Aventa-M devices manufactured since April 1.

Fires at the State Clinical Hospital named after S.I. Spasokukotsky in Moscow and St. George's Hospital in St. Petersburg occurred on May 9 and 12, respectively. In the first case, one person died, in the second - five.
