China News Service, June 10, according to the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia's WeChat public account "Ping An Indonesia", a few days ago, the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs took note of the embassies of various countries in Indonesia and informed the Indonesian government to accelerate the response to the new coronary pneumonia epidemic working group meeting decision as follows:

  1. People of foreign nationality entering Indonesia should carry a health certificate with a negative nucleic acid test result of New Coronary Pneumonia and allow self-isolation in their respective residences.

  2. Foreign nationals who do not carry a health certificate with a negative nucleic acid test result must undergo a nucleic acid sampling test at the port of entry and wait for the test result at a designated hotel.

  3. The foreign nationals mentioned in Article 2 above shall be accompanied by the Indonesian government personnel and take the transportation provided by the relevant working group of the Indonesian government to the quarantine site. Entry groups with leaders (such as cruise ship crew) are not subject to this restriction.

  4. At present, the Indonesian government working group is responsible for issuing travel permits and health permits for foreign nationals entering the country, and will soon be authorized to issue relevant documents at Sukarno-Hatta Airport. Immigrants should submit relevant health permits to the health authorities in their places of residence through their local representative offices (see annex for list).

  5. Foreign nationals who come to Indonesia for short-term visits (1 to 2 days, including but not limited to business personnel holding Indonesian Limited Residence Permit (KITAS) or Long-term Residence Permit (KITAP)), if they do not hold the stated nucleic acid test A negative health certificate can choose to receive a nucleic acid test at Siloam Hospital in Jakarta at your own expense and obtain the test results within 12 hours for subsequent self-isolation. If such an arrangement is chosen, the foreign nationals concerned should directly communicate with the airport quarantine personnel for confirmation during the entry health check.

  6. All foreign nationals who do not cooperate with the epidemic prevention inspection will be regarded as violating Indonesia’s Decree No. 6 of 2018 on health and quarantine. Immigrants holding ordinary foreign passports will be deported.
