The office of French Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, said yesterday that France decided to end the special powers granted to the government to deal with the Corona pandemic, on the tenth of July, while retaining the ability to limit gatherings and freedom of movement for a period of four months. After the data showed signs that the virus might fade in the country, France is now confident that it can end the emergency legislation.
"In light of the positive development of the health situation, the government wants to end the health emergency," the office said.
