“Exactly two weeks later, on June 24th, we expect in Moscow at the Victory Day parade of the President of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier, a spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian side would invite leaders of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States to the Victory Day parade on June 24.

The Kremlin also stated that no invitation was sent to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, since Ukraine “is not a de facto and largely de jure participant in the CIS” and “did not signal its desire to share the joy of Victory Day.”

The Victory Parade in Moscow will begin on June 24 at 10:00 and will last up to one and a half hours. The event will involve about 14 thousand people.
