“The Moscow prosecutor’s office put in control the progress and results of the investigation of the criminal case brought into the accident on Smolenskaya Square,” RIA Novosti reports.
Previously, the case was reclassified to the heavier part of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code after the death of a victim in an accident.
The accident occurred on the evening of June 8 at Smolenskaya Square. Jeep Grand Cherokee under the control of Efremov drove into the oncoming lane and made a collision with Lada.
An examination showed that the artist was drunk during the accident.
