The politician at a meeting on the draft concept of public safety in Russia until 2030, as reported by TASS, commented on the current situation in the United States.

“It is clear that no matter what the events of this kind are dictated, they pose a tremendous threat to public safety and lead to a violation of the rights of a large number of people,” Medvedev said.

In late May, African-American George Floyd died after being detained by police. 

His death provoked protests and disorder in a number of cities in the United States, as well as in some cities in other countries, in particular in Britain, Canada and France.
