It is noted that in Blagoveshchensk the heaviest rainfall in the history of meteorological observations took place on June 8.
According to the regional hydrometeorological center, 82 mm of precipitation fell in the city within 12 hours - 90% of the June norm.
The administration added that rainfall of this intensity "recognized as a dangerous meteorological phenomenon." Forecasters said that rainfall can be called "tropical."
“An emergency mode“ ”has been introduced in the city for emergency repair work,” RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier in three districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an emergency mode was introduced due to floods.
