The development strategy of the manufacturing industry until 2024 and for the period until 2035 provides for accelerating the technological development of Russia, introducing digital technologies into production, and increasing the competitiveness of export products.

The Cabinet of Ministers said that the relevant strategy “details the priority areas for the development of manufacturing industries, including aviation, shipbuilding, electronic, medical, automotive, transport and agricultural engineering, the chemical and petrochemical complex”.

It is noted that according to the results of the implementation of the strategy "the growth of the manufacturing industry index should be 116% by 2024, by 2035 - 192% (compared with the base year 2019)."

In February, Newsnn.ru reported that the volume of industrial production in the Nizhny Novgorod region almost tripled in 10 years - from 601.4 billion rubles in 2009 to 1.581 trillion rubles in 2019.
