The Federal Agency for Tourism expects that the full start of the holiday season in Russia will occur in July, but subject to safety precautions. This was stated by the head of the department Zarina Doguzova.

“In general, we understand that June will go to a soft start and preparation for the start of a full-fledged holiday season starting July 1. Of course, a lot will depend on the epidemiological situation in each specific region, but we are doing everything possible and very much hope that starting from July 1, Russians will be able to travel freely in our country, certainly with all safety measures, ”said Doguzova.

She noted that one of the key tasks of Rostourism for this summer season is to launch new accessible routes and directions for citizens of the Russian Federation, in addition to the traditional south of the country. In particular, there is already an agreement on charters to the Kaliningrad region - prices will start from 10 thousand rubles for a week's rest per person. Charter transportation will also be launched on Lake Baikal (from 30 thousand rubles per week tour) and the Altai Republic (from 25 thousand rubles) and Khakassia (from 35 thousand rubles). The price will include: hotel, air travel and excursion program to choose from.

“We continue to work on the formation of new, affordable, interesting offers, and we hope that we will be able to launch at least a dozen such interesting package offers for our citizens. We will do our best to make Russians as comfortable, safer, more interesting and more accessible as possible to relax in our country, ”the head of the Federal Tourism Agency added.

At the same time, Maya Lomidze, executive director of the Association of Russian Tour Operators, called fake information that vacation prices in Russia would rise by 30%.

“Rising prices for the Russian tourism product in 2020 is not expected at all. We constantly say that vacation prices will remain at the level of 2019, and maybe even decrease. There will definitely not be a price increase. This is obvious, ”RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

In addition, the EMERCOM of Russia proposed to increase the territory of beaches and bathing areas for the greatest coverage of vacationers. The department also considers it necessary that additional rescue posts be equipped. Citizens are encouraged to pay special attention to the safety of children near water areas.

“EMERCOM of Russia warns citizens from rest in natural places near water bodies. According to statistics, spending time on “wild” beaches is fraught with dangers: the bottom of the reservoir and the shore are not cleared of debris, the borders of the swim are not defined, there are no rescue posts, ”the message says.

At the same time, the head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov emphasized that tourists from other Russian regions will be able to come to rest in the region from July 1.

“From July 1, citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to come to the Republic of Crimea on vacation as part of intersubject tourism. Hotels and other means of collective accommodation can already begin to sell tickets today ... I want to draw the attention of citizens and managers of resort facilities to the need to comply with all security measures and recommendations of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, ”he wrote on his VKontakte page.

In addition, since June 15, sanatorium enterprises have been allowed to resume work on the Crimean Peninsula to receive local residents. In addition, sports and gyms, stadiums for athletics and football will open.

“Since June 15, the self-isolation regime for all categories of citizens has been completely lifted on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. In addition, the compulsory observation for those who come to the territory of the Republic of Crimea from other subjects of the Russian Federation is also canceled from June 15, ”the head of the region emphasized.

We add that in the Republic of Karelia since June 9 all objects of a tourist show are open for groups of up to 10 people, but all visitors must be masked and gloves, observe the social distance. In addition, camp sites and recreation centers in Sortavala, Lahdenpoh and Pitkäranta regions are allowed to receive guests for less than a month, provided that guests are accommodated in separate cottages or buildings with separate entrances.

“At the same time, the owners must comply with the same requirements that apply to tourist facilities in the rest of the republic: guests' meals should be organized in rooms or in the open air, they must be provided with personal protective equipment and organized hand treatment with antiseptics. Be sure to keep a temperature control log. The personnel of the recreation facilities should work wearing masks, gloves, disposable gowns, as well as glasses or face protective screens, ”wrote the regional governor Arthur Parfenchikov on his page on VKontakte.

The day before, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced his readiness to gradually open the tourist season. As Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko added, by June 15, heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation will prepare plans for opening the tourism industry.
