- That the Student House is praised again and this time for its solar cells is very gratifying. Both Akademiska Hus and Linköping University have high climate goals and that together we would build a new student house that is at the forefront of sustainability was our ambition from the beginning. This award is a confirmation that we have succeeded, says Hayar Gohary, project director at Akademiska Hus in a press release.

Motivation of the jury:

“Akademiska Hus has long been a driving force in solar cell installations throughout Sweden and the new student house on Campus Valla in Linköping is no exception. When the house, with a unique solar cell plant on the roof, also received other awards, it is in their place that their efforts are now being noticed by Swedish Solar Energy. ”
