“Thus, these drugs cannot help in the treatment against coronavirus infection,” RIA Novosti quoted the RFPI as saying.

The developers emphasized that such drugs cannot be purchased on the open market; they are issued to patients exclusively in medical institutions under the supervision of a doctor.

Earlier, the head of the RDIF, Kirill Dmitriev, said that Avifavir, a drug against coronavirus infection, would be free in Russia as part of the compulsory medical insurance.
