“Employees of the Pervomaiskoye police department of the Russian Interior Ministry’s department in the Shilkinsky district detained a man suspected of murder and personal injury,” the statement said.
According to police, on June 8, a 24-year-old man who was repeatedly convicted at night attacked a group of teenagers in the village of Pervomaisky, Shilkinsky district. The 16-year-old teenager, who was stabbed, died, five more people were hospitalized.
Earlier, the Petrozavodsk city court sentenced a resident of the city to nine years in prison in a maximum security colony on charges of brutal murder and theft.
