The revolver was stolen at a burglary in Luleå and used at a robbery in Mockfjärd in Dalarna where a shot was fired. The ball has the same lead isotope composition as the Palme ball. When the weapon was found by Expressen magazine in a lake in Dalarna in 2006, the revolver pipe was destroyed by rust and could not be determined if the weapon was used in the Palme murder.

Helsingborg ForceStolen in 1983 from a shooting club in Helsingborg.
Linkoping ForceStolen but found, but because the barrel was sawn it could not be pushed.
The gun collector's revolversThe gun collector, who was a good friend of the so-called Skandia man, owned at least five revolvers that could be possible Palme weapons. The police reportedly sent two of the man's weapons to the National Forensic Center for investigation and also received a response.
However, it is not known if any of the weapons can be linked to the Palme murder.
