A helmeted shooter shot and killed a man in a brewery on the outskirts of Ajaccio where three people were also evacuated to the hospital "shocked by the violence of the scene".
The facts took place Sunday evening shortly after 10 p.m. on the terrace of the L'Aktuel brewery, located in the commercial activity center of Suartello. "We have, a priori, a helmeted shooter who arrives and who repeatedly shoots two men who are seated before leaving as he came on a scooter," said Sylvain Darchy, deputy prosecutor of Ajaccio .
One of the victims known to the police
Among the two people affected, the 29-year-old injured man, who was hit in the arm, is known to the police, but "a priori" not the second, who was killed. The 40-year-old was more severely ill and died overnight, the same source said. According to a source close to the investigation, the wounded is notably known to have been involved in a criminal association.
The handgun used is 11.43 mm caliber. Among those evacuated in shock from the brewery is a pregnant woman who has felt unwell, also said Sylvain Darchy. The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police, he added.
