Between 10 and 12.30, the rescue service in Umeå has worked feverishly with trees that have been blown up and roofs and buildings that are at risk of blowing away.

- We have eight people on duty. We divide ourselves into different cars to be able to catch as much as possible, says Frida Klarin, internal commander of the rescue service.

- While we are in one place, a new alarm comes from somewhere else. We go from one to the other, ”says Clarin.

She now urges Umeå residents to secure their loose objects in the first place.

- It is good if everyone can look over what you have out and sour things that risk being blown away, she says.

- If you have a strap or rope you should look for it now, she says.

Boat owners are also urged to look after their boats so that nothing is worn in the strong wind.

- You should check that the boat is securely fastened. Look over your stuff and be ready, says Clarin.
