Bankruptcies and rising unemployment are some of the effects that the corona pandemic has had on the Swedish business community. Center Party's substitute party leader Anders W Jonsson highlighted the proposal for changes in labor law as a way out for Swedish entrepreneurs.

- If we had had a reading in place, we would have had a better situation for dealing with people in unemployment, and it becomes even more important the more people who are unemployed, says Anders W Jonsson.

The Left Party's Jonas Sjöstedt does not agree.

- These incredible changes that you want to make mean that people who have worn themselves out in their workplace will be much easier to kick. Or that the one who has stood up to his boss may go. This is a favor that you January parties suggest.

"Want to avoid good luck"

Changes in labor law were part of the January agreement that made budgetary cooperation possible between S, MP, C and L. Stefan Löfven says in the debate that it is agreed to change reads, but not according to the proposal presented by the inquiry.

- We agree on turnaround rules, but want to avoid arbitration and dismissals and keep the balance between the social partners. What the inquiry proposes is not the government's proposal. I do not believe in a solution where it is easier to dismiss people, but I know that reading does not work well for many professions, says Stefan Löfven.

Sjöstedt to attack Sabuni

The description of entrepreneurs from the Left Party and the Social Democrats caused the Liberals' Nyamko Sabuni to react.

- There are too many people here who have never worked in a company. If you seriously think that employers spend time thinking "who am I going to kick off tomorrow instead of" dare I hire a new person? ".

Jonas Sjöstedt contends that the Liberals have become "a kind of supplier organization for various lobbyists."

- They even saw you become party chairman by campaigning for you. Maybe you are in debt of gratitude and I do not think that you should do as party chairman.

- No, you know what. The money you want to spend on health care, school and care, they are created in business. You have to start showing respect for those who create prosperity in our country instead of advocating them, ”replies Nyamko Sabuni.
