"We are already standing." With these words, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, expressed this Sunday at the end of the XIII Conference of Presidents his conviction that Spain, despite the prudence that must continue to be maintained, has managed to overcome the very serious health crisis caused by the Covid- 19.

Sánchez has reviewed the measures adopted so far and has pointed out that, starting from Phase 3, in which half of Spain enters this Monday, "the witness" of the management "passes to the autonomous communities."

Subsequently, the president has said, in the so-called "new normal", that when the state of alarm permanently subsides, "life will not be as before." At least, until an effective vaccine or treatment is found. "The risk is there and it can come back," he said.

That is why on Tuesday June 9, the Council of Ministers will approve a decree with the measures that will have to be adopted from the end of the state of alarm, to try to avoid or, where appropriate, mitigate possible outbreaks. These rules will govern as long as the sanitary emergency is maintained.

The Prime Minister wanted to highlight the latest measure adopted by the Executive, the Minimum Life Income, an amount that will be received by 255,000 of its beneficiaries on June 26 , as announced.

The fund of 16,000 million, "fidelity"

He also made reference to the fund of 16,000 million euros for the autonomous communities that will be dedicated to health and public education and that will be unlocked on the 16th. This is a transfer and not a loan, which, in his opinion, it demonstrates the "sensitivity" of the Government with the autonomies.

Torra will hold the Government "responsible" for "suffocating Catalonia" if it does not rectify

The President has insisted that the new distribution formula that he has confirmed has sought to "faithfully reflect" the situation faced by the autonomous communities and has emphasized that the new distribution model devised by the Ministry of Finance includes the proposals made by parliamentary forces.

However, Sánchez has avoided the fact that a good number of regional presidents have expressed their disagreement with the formulated. He spoke, however, of the persistence of serious problems in the care of the elderly, dependents and child poverty, all issues that, he insisted, "we must face together." In this sense, he has once again sent a message to all political forces asking to leave behind "provocations and hatred".

The 'Marlaska case' and the "patriotic police"

The Chief Executive has also been forced on Question Time to address the debate that has settled in Spanish political life on account of the alleged existence of reactionary cells within the Corps and State Security Forces raised by root of the dismissal of colonel Diego Pérez de los Cobos as head of the Command of the Civil Guard in Madrid.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, this Sunday, at a press conference DANI DUCHPOOL

Sánchez has once again assured the "full confidence" that he maintains in the Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and has framed the removal of Pérez de los Cobos in the right of the head of the ministry to mold the teams as he sees fit.

In addition, in an attempt to redirect the discomfort that exists in the leadership of the police force, he has pointed out that the fact that isolated members do not respond as expected of the Armed Institute can not jeopardize the commitment and action of the Benemérita.

The president has also insisted that when he speaks of "patriotic police" he refers to the "parallel police" that, according to him, was created during the Mariano Rajoy government to cover the corruption of the PP.

Sánchez, likewise, has again blamed the "right" for trying to link "feminism and Covid", when it considers that it was irresponsible and negligent to have allowed the manifestation of 8-M at a time when there was already a high risk of contagion .

The dance of deceased figures

Sánchez has assured "not to share" the criticisms that have been leveled against the Government for its lack of effectiveness, its lunges, for taking advantage of the state of alarm, to adopt decisions that had nothing to do with the health crisis and for the incessant dancing of deceased figures.

Regarding this last question, the President has assured that "transparency" has been "absolute" and that, since they are not "homogeneous" data, they may yield different results. The mortality data from the virus, in his opinion, can only be accurate when the pandemic is overcome.
