In the list of the ten countries with the largest number of deaths per million inhabitants, we have chosen to remove some smaller countries: Andorra, San Marino, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. They all have a very small population, which means that a few deaths have a major impact on an international comparison.

Regarding the number of tests conducted in Sweden, there are also figures from the Public Health Authority that compiles information from the regions each week. The financial assessments of company support and key figures come from the Ministry of Finance and the National Institute of Economic Research.
