This is stated on the website of the Main Directorate of Regional Security of the Moscow Region.

“Recently, the number of citizens' appeals about the recalculation of pensions has sharply increased, while the average amount of recalculation amounted to about 50 rubles. When conducting surveys of citizens, it was found that the services were actually imposed by unscrupulous legal organizations, ”the press release said.

At the same time, citizens were charged from 20 to 900 thousand rubles for the preparation of one application for “recalculation” and “legal support”.

“Fraudsters, pretending to be employees of the pension fund, call older people, talk about the cash payment they have received, for which they are asked to provide an account number for the transfer of money,” they say in the PFR about another scheme.

In addition, scammers send SMS messages about reimbursable compensation from a site masquerading as a public services portal, and find out the details of a bank card or offer to transfer money to a third-party account to pay the “state fee”.

The FIU reminded that employees of government departments do not request personal data by telephone, since they already have all the necessary data for calculating pensions.
